The functions and duties of the Worship Team consist of the following:
a. Ensure that the services of God's House are conducted properly and in accordance with the liturgy of the church.
b. Provide helpful ushers and ensure that hymn books and other devotional helps are available and maintained in good order.
c. Supervise the organization and promotion of the choirs. Be responsible for the care of musical instruments including the pipe organ and of the vestments of the choirs and acolytes. This ministry shall in consultation with the pastor(s) and the director of music provide appropriate music for the services of worship.
d. Assist the staff, the Cabinet, the Altar Guild, and the other Ministry Teams involved in worship activities by planning all elements of all worship services, which may include, but not be limited to: communion preparation, communion assistants, music, altar flowers, paraments, acolytes, and readers.
Acolytes

Boys and girls, 5th through 12th grade, and interested adults assist with Sunday services and festival worship services by lighting candles, distributing offering plates and assisting with communion. Special instructional training is held throughout the year.
Altar Guild

Altar Guild provides suitable furnishings and decorations for the nave, chancel and altar and takes due and reverent care of its appointments. The members also help prepare for the administration of the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism. Additionally, Altar Guild members deliver altar flowers to Church members who are hospitalized or who are shut-ins.
Meetings: Altar Guild meets at least four times each year at the Church. These are brown bag lunch meetings where members take turns providing a dessert. A program or meeting follows the casual lunch.
Children’s Music

As part of the Sunday School hour, weekly music activities for children include singing, musical games and playing rhythm instruments.
SHOUT! – 1st through 4th grades
This is a singing choir that meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. and performs in Church once each month.
CHIME CHOIR – 5th through 6th grades
This is a chime instrument playing group that meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. and rings in Church throughout the year.
Communion Assistants

Communion Assistants are adults who assist with the distribution of Holy Communion during worship service.
Readers

Readers are adults and high school youth who read scripture lessons during worship services.
Sound System Volunteers

Joy Moxon
Volunteers are responsible for the Sanctuary sound system used weekly during the worship services. Volunteers are also responsible for the sound system at special events, funerals and weddings. Volunteers are trained and then scheduled to work a worship service to make sure the service is recorded and all microphones are functioning properly.
Trinity Bells

Trinity Bells is the adult handbell choir. It participates in the Sunday morning worship services approximately once each month. Rehearsals are held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays in the Choir Room. All are welcome to join. However, it is helpful to be able to read music.
Trinity Brass

Trinity Brass is an ensemble of brass players who participate in worship services several times throughout the year. Rehearsals are held as announced.
Trinity Choir

This adult choir sings a wide variety of music at the 11 a.m. Sunday worship services. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9 p.m. In addition to leading worship, they also participate in special musical events, often jointly with other church choirs in the community.
Trinity Organ Series

The Trinity Organ Series presents internationally acclaimed organists performing in the Church Sanctuary on the Berghaus pipe organ (4,551 pipes). At each concert, the organ has a significant role either as a solo instrument or in combination with other instruments. An offering in support of the Series will be accepted at each event. Ushers

Ushers are adults who assist with the worship services as scheduled. Ushers also assist with the Trinity Organ Recital Series, special musical events, weddings, and funerals as needed.
Praise Troupe

The Praise Troupe is a group of elementary and pre-teen students who study dance and choreography to be used during Sunday worship services and at other special occasions. The Troupe performs several times a year during worship, at mother and daughter events and at special Sunday School pageants.
