Confirmation classes are for students as they enter the 7th grade. It is a two-year course curriculum that is taught by lay persons and the pastoral staff. Confirmands receive instruction in the sacraments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, how to read and understand the Bible and the various aspects of worship. They learn and talk about how to relate all that they learn to their lives.
Each of the Confirmands is paired with an adult mentor from the Congregation, and once a month there is a fellowship/learning event for both. This event is usually held at the Church on the 3rd Sunday of the month at Noon.
The Confirmands also participate in a weekend winter retreat with some of the Church staff. This weekend is a time of fun, learning and faith building at one of the Lutheran outdoor camps.
Meetings: Confirmation Classes are Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 a.m. in room 116.

Crossways
Contact: Pastor Landis Coffman
Clergy and laypeople alike agree studying the Bible can change people’s hearts and lives. Crossways, a two-year Bible study program, offers the members of Holy Trinity an in-depth look of both the New and Old Testaments. Crossways helps people see the specific and profound connections between the two Testaments and have a better understanding of the unique message of each book of the Bible in relation to all other books. The current two-year session of Crossways began in September 2010. If you are interested in participating in Crossways, please contact Pastor Coffman.
