Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has made a “Commitment Through Worship” over the next year. The goal is to help deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage an increase of the frequency of worship for the church family. Below is a list of activities that will take place over the next couple of months. Members are encouraged to participate.
Worship Opportunities
To worship God is to give Him our love, reverence, service and devotion. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy might, mind and strength." Worship not only shows our love for God and commitment to Him, it gives us strength to keep His commandments. Through worship we grow in knowledge and faithfulness.

My Commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church
Realizing that God has called me to a covenant with Him begun in my Baptism:
- I will make a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- I will actively participate and support the life of this congregation with my presence, abilities and financial resources.
- I will commit myself to weekly worship, onoing participation in Christian study, and regularly receive the Lord's Supper.
- I will witness to Chris through what I say and do.
- I will willingly serve my Lord when calledn upon according to my God-given talents and abilities.
- I will work for justice and peace for all people through individual and congregational expressions of faith.

This service is adapted from the Lutheran Book of Worship (1987). You may wish to adapt the environment to create an altar-type setting with such symbols as flowers, candles or a cross. An open Bible will be used in the service as well.
