Sunday School classes meet September through May. The classrooms are divided by grade level:

- Pre-kindergarten through Kindergarten
- 1st through 2nd grade
- 3rd through 4th grade
- 5th through 6th grade
- 7th through 8th grade (Middle School - Confirmation Class)

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church uses the curriculum, “Living the Good News,” a Lutheran Lectionary-based program. After the children meet for Shout! or Chime Choir, they go to their classrooms for instruction, stories and related crafts until 10:45 a.m. Three teachers currently serve in each of the classes on a monthly rotational basis.
First Communion
This teaching of the sacraments and their meaning is given to 4th and 5th graders (with their parents in attendance) and is taught by the pastors. Parents who feel their child is mature enough to have this instruction should call the church office at (330) 376-5154.

Confirmation classes are for students entering the 7th grade. It is a two-year course curriculum that is taught by lay persons and the pastoral staff. Confirmands receive instruction in the sacraments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, how to read and understand the Bible and the various aspects of worship. They learn and talk about how to relate all that they learn to their lives.
Each of the Confirmands is paired with an adult mentor from the Congregation, and once a month there is a fellowship/learning event for both. This event is usually held at the Church on the 3rd Sunday of the month at Noon.
The Confirmands also participate in a weekend winter retreat with some of the Church staff. This weekend is a time of fun, learning and faith building at one of the Lutheran outdoor camps.
Meetings: Confirmation Classes are Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 a.m. in room 116.
